Signifikansi Nyanyian Rohani Berdasarkan Narasi Injil

Abstract: Gospel-centered songs are good and "healthy" songs for the congregation because they have significance as songs that express the believer's faith and relationship to God, which includes the identity and work of God, as well as forming the identity and meaning of the believer's life. However, the content of songs sung is often not given much attention. Through this concern, the author will carry out expositional exegesis of three examples of Gospel-centered songs. First, the song of Moses and the Israelites from Exodus 15:1-21, which shows that the song emerged because the Israelites had seen concrete evidence of what God had done in their lives, namely saving and freeing them from slavery and long suffering. Second, Mary's song from Luke 1:46-56, which was raised out of great gratitude for the miraculous work of God's grace in the lowly personal life of Mary and her sinful nation. Third, the song of the Lamb from Revelation 4:8-11 and 5:8-14, which is a song that expresses the majesty of God, the Creator and the Redeemer. Through this research, it’s hoped that it can equip church leaders regarding Gospel-centered songs and their significance.
Abstrak: Nyanyian rohani yang berdasarkan narasi Injil adalah nyanyian yang baik dan “sehat” bagi jemaat karena nyanyian rohani yang bernarasi Injil memiliki signifikansi sebagai nyanyian yang mengekspresikan iman dan relasi orang percaya kepada Allah, yang meliputi identitas dan pekerjaan Allah, serta memformasi identitas dan makna hidup orang percaya. Penulis akan melakukan eksegesis eksposisional dari tiga contoh nyanyian rohani bernarasi Injil dalam Alkitab. Pertama, nyanyian Musa dan bangsa Israel dari Keluaran 15:1-21, yang menunjukkan nyanyian muncul karena bangsa Israel telah melihat bukti nyata apa yang Allah telah lakukan dalam kehidupan mereka, yaitu menyelamatkan dan membebaskan mereka dari perbudakan dan penderitaan yang begitu panjang. Kedua, nyanyian Maria dari Lukas 1:46-56, yang dinaikkan dari rasa syukur yang besar atas karya anugerah Allah yang ajaib dalam kehidupan pribadi Maria yang rendah dan bangsanya yang berdosa. Ketiga, nyanyian Anak Domba dari Wahyu 4:8-11 dan 5:8-14, yang merupakan sebuah nyanyian yang mengungkapkan keagungan Allah, Sang Pencipta dan Sang Penebus. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat memperlengkapi para pemimpin gereja mengenai nyanyian rohani bernarasi Injil dan signifikansinya.
