The COVID-19 pandemic has affected church ministries worldwide, producing both positive and negative impacts. One of the churches experiencing these challenges is GBI Anugerah Bandar Lampung, where the quantity and quality of youth ministry have declined significantly. This situation presents a serious challenge not only for GBI Anugerah but also for churches in general. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to the decline in both the quantity and quality of youth servants in the church, particularly at GBI Anugerah Bandar Lampung, and to examine strategies for increasing the enthusiasm and commitment of youth servants based on the background of 1 Timothy 4:11–16. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews. After identifying the core problems, a literature review was conducted to gather relevant theories and biblical insights concerning the role of youth servants and the contextual background of 1 Timothy 4:11–16. The findings reveal several major factors that led to a significant decrease in youth involvement, namely health concerns, educational commitments, and marriage. Therefore, youth servants are called to take responsibility and remain steadfast in their ministry, even during a pandemic, for the growth and continuity of the church.
